Hope everyone’s Thanksgiving hang over is gone by now! I had all of these great plans to show everyone the progress on the house, show you kitchen designs and then post about the exciting week I had ahead of me! Boy did those plans change! You see, I was planning on going to Wales for an entire week for work. Great, right? Well Karma/God/Tucker/Someone didn’t think so. I woke up on Sunday morning not feeling great and couldn’t eat but I chalked it up to nerves for the travel and busy week ahead of me. As the day went on I felt worse and worse, I drove all of the way to Dulles Airport and after spending sometime praying to the porcelain God of Dulles Airport I realized I shouldn’t get on the flight. It wasn’t one of my finer moments and it was an eventful week but not in the way I had planned. The Dr chalked it up to the stomach flu, I don’t really know what that means, seems so ambiguous. Whatever it was, it sucked. I felt like I was hit by a bus and had the worst hangover of my life all at the same time. HOWEVER I am on the mend and have successfully eaten (and kept) an actual meal! I win!
Moving on to the fun and not so sucky stuff. The work on the basement has started!!!! It was unseasonably warm in Baltimore this past weekend so Bobby Chuck (That’s RC.. get it?.. come on… cooommme oon. There ya go! I can’t really take credit for that one. My sister refers to him as that and I think it’s awesome. ya know that Caitlin, she's not just a pretty face!) Anyway, Bobby and I took the little monkey to the park to chase the ducks, eat weird things, to scare the little children and to stop by the house. Aren’t we great fur-rents?

On the way home we stopped by the house, met some neighbors who were deep frying another Turkey, which I find fascinating but what was also facsinating was THIS!

Cool, RIGHT?! We haven't been over in the last few days. RC get's home when it's dark and I've been ya know, busy. Hoping this was just the beginning of it. Next thing you know they'll be pouring concrete and pulling down the back of the house. Criz-zazy.
How was your Thanksgiving weekend? can you beat my awesome week?
