THEY CAN DIG IT. I never thought dirt and cinder blocks would make me this excited alas, it has. WHO AM I?! We went on our Saturday morning stroll to the house, it’s still ridiculously nice in Baltimore and it’s perfect for home rehabbing and picture taking so we got some good shots. If you remember when we stopped by last Saturday it looked like this:
Yesterday when we stopped by it looked like this:

| makes me nervous there are extra cinder blocks, like extra pieces when you're done building something? |
To give you more of an idea of how deep it is:

| haha, this pic makes me laugh |
I wish I had some educational stuff to tell you, I really don’t know the technical side of basement-digging-outing. One question that I know my Dad will ask will be, “where do they put the dirt? Did they get a dumpster back there?” To answer your question, RC saw this the other day:
Looks like they drive a truck down the narrow street and use this conveyor belt to transfer piles of dirt to the back of a pickup truck. I guess this explains why it takes so long. RC couldn’t answer all of my questions that came with this picture. Where do they put that dirt? How many times do they do that a day? Is this how they do it on all houses or just our house? Why wouldn’t there be a more high tech higher tech mm, better way of doing this? etc..
In other news, we’re still those neighbors with household appliances and weird stuff in our yard:
