4 years ago, almost to the day, I sat in traffic on Hudson Street with Patty next to me and Jenny on the phone. I remember not knowing where I was or much about the city but Patty and I were gushing to Jenny about how cute our new place was, how close Starbucks was, how we could walk to the bars and how moving to Bmore for a year was going to be just as amazing as our summer in Europe. We had just left our Port Street house for the first time and were rushing to the airport but roads were closed and we were stuck in traffic..... Marathon traffic. At the time we were recent college grads, had no real commitments and were on the hunt for our next big adventure. Baltimore was NOT my idea of a big adventure but Patty convinced us to move here for "just a year". So, two weeks later Jenny and I packed our bags and moved to Baltimore.

Which made me realize Baltimore marathon week is usually full of milestones:

This year, there are no drunken "single ladies" nights, I'm not interviewing for a new job, I don't have a broken bone and I don't plan on running for 4+ hours tomorrow. My "I" has turned into WE and WE closed on our first house today!!! I still can't believe my "year adventure" turned into what it has become. It has been an amazing ride with tons of memories and still remains "the best decision of my life".
